At the heart of the Art & Culture Village, workshop areas offer activities such as painting, woodcraft, music, dance and drama, ceramics, ecology and science rooms, open to children, young guests, adults and families—either individually or together.
* At least two workshops per day are planned for different age groups, with a minimum of three sessions.
The areas surrounding the Art & Culture Village are open for free use. For families wishing to spend time together, walking paths, playgrounds and outdoor sports units are available. These spaces allow children to enjoy their time safely while supporting families in sharing quality moments together.
Akra Didim Artist Residency stands out as a program that brings artistic production together with the natural flow of daily life. It offers local and international artists a qualified working environment where they can develop their practice within a specific time and place, engage with their surroundings, and build a stronger connection with the place they inhabit.
At Akra Didim, art is approached not only through the final work, but also through the process of creation, the relationship established with the space, and the encounters that emerge between people. This perspective, where production, sharing, and everyday life intertwine, forms the foundation of the program.
Akra Didim goes beyond offering artists merely a space for production; it creates a living experiential environment shaped by seasonal cycles, spatial layers, and social interaction. In this way, the artistic process evolves into a multilayered structure that grows together with its surroundings.
